The Sweetest Things
Ahhh such a sweet pair are our Kate and Geoff. And one of the cheekiest (is that even a word?) grooms I have ever met. Of course I loved every minute of it. Our lovely two began their union in front of family and friends at always amazing St Johns Catherdral Brisbane City. I met Kate about a year earlier when I looked after her best friend Karens’ wedding. (Karen’s image is on my slide show on the website) Today was Karen’s turn to take over the bridesmaid’s duty. Miss Sandra joined me for the day and we started at Kate’s folk’s house. I knew Kate would look so glamorous. I told Sandra on route, “This is going to be an amazing wedding”.

Some last minute touches and Kate is ready and amazing.

Kate has told me everyone loves this shot of her, such great light in the house.

But this is my favourite, a bit of anticipation on this beautiful lady’s face.

We headed off….reluctantly to see Geoff. Now Geoff you are lovely, but the cameras wanted to stay with Kate. Ha Ha.. Seriously, Geoff , you are a dashing Groom.

These great kids are all Geoff’s little relatives and provided me with many gorgeous distractions all day.

Now this is a Bridal Party!

Distractions – Oh so lovely

Such a beautiful church.

These two shots I couldn’t decide between so I included them both.

There is that cheekiness I was talking about.

We headed off to the city for a few shots before heading down to Giannis at Portside for the celebrations. But we had a little detour on the way.I thought this place was a little secret between a few photographers, but Kate was clued up on it before I even suggested this. She is a girl in the know.

Run Geoff….Run.

So I turn around and wonder just what are these boys up too? Aha, giving me a great shot! Just hold that for me please.

Fireworks and a fabulous dance and Giannis staff and service were amazing.

I was so privileged to listen to the speeches from Kate and Geoff and their familes. This really re-inforced that hopeless romantic in me was alive and well after hearing their story. Thank you for inviting me to capture a chapter of this, just an amazing day to begin your lives together.
See you both soon for some slice and beer….
xx Denise

you are brilliant!
