Now I know there are a few “horse/racing” mentions in this post but in honour of our fantastic groom Adam (who is a mad horse fan) I am going with it. So giddy-up and enjoy the beautiful wedding of Sammy and Adam. Mickey and I started our day with young Adam and the lads over at his house in Nundah, oh so dangerously close to Eagle Farm! The boys were in fine form for the days events ahead.

The boys had a little flutter and I found the evidence on the coffee table. Hope he didnt bet the rings on No. 3 in the 3rd.

Meanwhile Sammy our gorgeous fillie, was over with her ladies gearing up for the ride of her life. Above is the workings of one of the most beautiful speeches to a husband I have ever heard.

Sammy is just a divine lady, and looked like an angel today.

Beautiful Corpus Christi at Nundah was the venue for our fab couple.

Sam is the picture of a bride, so very gorgeous and on the arm of her very proud father.

Such a beautiful ceremony with a few laughs thrown in for good measure.

A perfect day awaited us for some location photos, a few gorgeous clouds in the sky set the scene for our next stop at Brisbane’s grooviest club Cloudlands.

Wow, everywhere you look in here is just another masterpiece but nothing could overshadow our Bride and Groom.

These two cant keep their eyes of each other.

After a little run and champange in the park we headed over to Rydges at Southbank with a perfect view for a perfect evening.

And some hillarious “horse filled” speeches.

Sammy gave the speech of her life to Adam and there was not a dry eye in the house. A heartfelt moment to top off their fabulous day racing into each others arms. Congratulations to you both, what a great time we had, it was an incredible start to a beautiful marriage. All bets are off now, Adam and Sam are a sure thing.

Most of you know I am not a morning person, but for great light and a fabulous couple I will get up at anytime. Meet Nat and Sean who I had the very big pleasure of photographing their wedding way back in 2008. On this sunny April day these groovy two decided to have a “dawn portrait” with me to celebrate Nat’s birthday. We sussed out some excellent photo venues around the Valley and began our morning at 5.00 am. Lucky, they are awesome people (sooo early!)….. Please enjoy.

Nat had some amazing outfits picked out for the sitting, she is a stylish lady. Trust me if there were any shops open here on James Street, poor Sean would have been in trouble!

Meet Aldwin and Maree. The sweetest couple ever who absolutely define the word LOVE in their relationship. So much so it was not enough to get married once, but now twice 6 years later on their wedding anniversary. How lucky am I to see and document such commitment to each other. Many tears were shed on this beautiful day on the Gold Coast, many from the 30 guests and many from me, accompanied by many stares from my husband who quietly thought to himself “I will have to marry her again soon too”.

And here is our gorgeous Maree, what an incredible joy she is to photograph.

You see, even the celebrant was crying. A beautiful moving ceremony.

He loves her so much, I just stood there in awe all day and just pointed my camera at this perfect union of two awesome people.

We headed off to Q1 for the after party. I had to stop in the hallway for this shot.

Aldwin and Maree, thank you. It was an amazing day and I am so privileged to have documented everything for you. You are a testament to what it all should be about. Second time is definitely the best time!

Hello. I would love you all to meet two very special little men, Joshua and Mitchell. You may remember their parents Tania and Bas which have become very dear to me after I first photographed their wedding day way back in May 2008. At the beginning of this year I photographed the boys in Mum’s tummy out at Wellington Point and now here they are. A little early but good things just can’t wait!

Bas’s family is from Holland and on his wedding day they sent over some clogs for him and Tania so it was only fitting that we photograph the pairs sent over for the boys. Hmmm might be a while before they can run around the house in them, but so cute. Thank you Tania and Bas again for letting me in on your special moments in your lives. I look forward to watching these little men grow. Awww…
